Shipping Policy

At TARTARUGA we prepare every order with the same care we put into designing our collections. We want your purchase to arrive in perfect condition and within the expected timeframes, which is why we work only with trusted courier companies and have set out a clear, transparent shipping policy.

1. Delivery scope

We ship nationally and internationally.

  • Mainland Spain and Balearic Islands: regular service with fast delivery times and competitive costs.
  • Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: available, although additional customs procedures may apply.
  • European Union: we deliver to all member states.
  • Rest of the world: we deliver to most countries. If your country does not appear at checkout, email pedidos@tartaruga.es and we will handle your order personally.

2. Processing and preparation

  • All orders are prepared at our warehouse in Galicia, using sustainable, environmentally friendly packaging; in some cases we use protective plastics when strictly necessary to ensure the garments are properly protected.
  • Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email and, afterwards, another email with information about your shipment’s status.
  • Orders are prepared on business days, Monday to Friday. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

3. Delivery times

Delivery times depend on destination and the service selected. As a guideline:

  • Mainland Spain: 24–72 business hours
  • Balearic Islands: 3–5 business days
  • Europe: 5–10 business days, depending on the country
  • Rest of the world: 7–20 business days, depending on destination and customs procedures

During high-demand periods (sales, special promotions, Black Friday, Christmas, etc.), delivery times may be longer.

4. Shipping costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout according to destination, parcel weight/volume and the selected service.
  • The exact cost is shown before completing the order.
  • Free-shipping promotions, when active, will be clearly indicated on the website.

5. Customs and duties

For shipments outside the European Union or to territories with special tax regimes (Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla), the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, tariffs or local taxes that may apply. These amounts are not included in product prices or shipping costs.

6. Delivery incidents

  • If no one is available at the time of delivery, the carrier will make a new attempt or route the parcel to a nearby collection point.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Address errors or repeated absences may generate additional re-routing costs payable by the buyer.
  • We recommend checking the parcel upon receipt. If you notice visible external damage, note it on the carrier’s slip and notify TARTARUGA within 24 hours.

7. Risk and transfer of ownership

In accordance with consumer law, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when they acquire physical possession of the goods, i.e., when the order is delivered to the indicated address.
